Booth concept & design

By Marcom

Our drupa 2012 booth will be divided into sections which correspond to the segments/applications: Newspapers, Commercial & Packaging, Industrial, Sign & Display.
Since our 2008 booth did a terrific job in terms of both design and functionality, this year's booth will largely resemble it. Obvious advantages are that we will be easily recognized by visitors and that we can benefit from a high level of routine for the build-up and the dismantling of the booth. Of course, the lay-out will be adapted to some extent and there will be new booth elements.

Agfa Graphics: the gateway to your destination

Definitely new is the booth concept. To visualize our drupa 2012 vision and mission, the Agfa Graphics booth will use elements of an airport. Just like an airport is a hub for people on their way to their destinations, our solutions connect the different elements of a graphic business. In addition, quite similar to a printing business, an airport functions thanks to highly efficient and automated practices, and is operated in an extremely professional way. It is also the meeting point of different cultures, echoing our presence as a global player.
Different elements are in preparation to support this umbrella concept, ranging from invitation templates for printed and online output to a mini Agfa Graphics drupa website.

Agfa Graphics: a truly global company

Most days of the show will have a regional theme, which will reflect our worldwide operation and position.
> At the morning briefing, an overview of a region will be presented by one of the Regional Presidents.
> In the evening at 06:30 pm there will be themed dinners in the Magic Cristal tent.
> The 'gallery' will be decorated with images from all over the world.
